For decades, Kenyans have watched public resources meant for hospitals, schools, roads, and farms disappear through inflated contracts and unaccountable leadership. Public procurement alone consumes nearly 18% of the national budget, yet audit reports consistently reveal massive inefficiencies and leakages.
The Clean Alliance Party of Kenya (CAP-K) was founded on the doctrine of Clean Politics — an ethical governance framework that places integrity, transparency, and stewardship of public resources above everything else. This is not a slogan. It is the core of our Social Democratic ideology, which holds that the state must actively organise society to reduce inequality while ensuring every shilling delivers value for the people.
In our Manifesto under Pillar One: Governance and Institutional Reform, we commit to:
- Digitising all public procurement processes with real-time citizen monitoring
- Enforcing performance contracts for all public officials
- Strengthening the National Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission through party-supported legislation
- Devolving anti-corruption oversight to ward level through devolved Elections Boards and community accountability forums
We further commit to publishing quarterly public finance reports that every Kenyan can access and question. This level of openness is enshrined in our Party Constitution (Article 9) and our Election & Nomination Rules, which demand the highest standards of integrity from every candidate and official.
SAUTI YA HAKI means we will no longer accept excuses. Leadership must be judged by outcomes, not intentions.
We invite every Kenyan who is tired of the same old politics to join the Clean Sweep. Together, we will rebuild trust between citizens and government.
